The Tenex Personal Whiteboard project challenged us to develop an elevated version of an inexpensive personal-sized whiteboard tablet. Other products in this segment are cost reduced so far that they have the feel of flimsy cardboard. To support the added material and manufacturing cost it needed to have the feel of a premium product. Additional features were added to make the product more versatile.
Rute completed design, engineering, and visualization tasks to develop a two-sided whiteboard that included reversible and collapsible feet to elevate the surface as well as a unique wall hanging detail. We also supported the process of documenting the design for manufacturing. The resulting product’s design details supported its elevated feature set.
